Usually, when we are dealing with money, we do not need to adjust the accuracy of the result. In most cases it’s totally sufficient to have two digits after the floating point representing hundredths of the currency.

However, the settings is left as is, for the case when we calculate the percentage of some non-money value, when higher accuracy may be required.
